We stayed home the morning of the fourth this year because Chalyn did a little summer dance class and so she got to be in the parade. This is the first time I have done any dance and she absolutely loved it. She was the smallest in her class but she totally kept up with all the big girls and she was especially excited to get to be in the parade. I was worried the heat and marching would wear her out quick but she made it all the way smiling and loved every minute of it! I was one proud mama!!
This is right before the parade when we dropped her off.
It seemed like we had to wait forever to see chalyn and Beck kind of got sick of watching for her.
super handsome boys
Beckham wasn't very aggresive with the other kids and the candy. He would just wait till they were all done and then bolt for the middle of the street to get the run over pieces. Ha Ha oh well he was happy about it and Luke started taking him out there to be safe.
They finally came, and I was impressed with their uniformity since they were so small
She was seriously DARLING!
She jumped in the back of the truck the last half a block just cuz she thought it looked like fun she said.
When i got to her to pick her up
After the parade we decided to head to Beaver to hang out for the day and we ended up at Kents Lake fishing. It was perfect weather and we went with Lukes sister and her family which made it super fun. We even caught quite a few fish!
Luke's always so good to help the kids catch their own fish
This is some serious reeling! It makes me laugh!
Since lots of the fireworks were cancelled this year we decided to head for home but as we were passing parowan they had theirs going so we pulled over and sat on the car to show them to the kids. We are a little cooky but we have lots of fun.
