Bad news....Good weekend

So I'm gonna start off with my bad news story first. I went in for my regular weekly pregnancy checkup last Thursday and found out some kind of bad news. While my doctor was checking to see if I was dilating he discovered that our baby is in frank breech position. Obviously thats not something you want to hear but i wasn't concerned at all thinking i still have plenty of time for him to turn. So the doctor ordered another ultrasound just to make sure and told me he wanted me to go from his office to the hospital to do a non stress test. I did the test and everything looked perfect which was a huge relief but then went to do to the fluid test (done by ultrasound) and my fluid is low. They like you to be between 10 and 20 centimeters and they told me they wouldn't let me leave the hospital if it was under 5. Mine was6.5 so i was relieved thinking they were gonna let me go but they made me wait until my doctor could come talk to me. Right about then is when I started to worry. My doctor came and explained that since my fluid is low there is very little chance the baby will turn on his own and so i need to be prepared to have a c-section. I was totally devastated and broke down. But he did refer me to a specialist to see if they can try and do a version to turn him, however he thinks i'm probably not a candidate because i have low fluid. So i meet with the specialist tomorrow and am just praying that they will at least try it. After getting all that bad news i decided i wanted to get away so we went to St. George to take my mind off of things. It was really nice for Chalyn to be able to play outside with all the cousins and i not have to worry about her, and we were able to go to my nephew Jace's baptism on Sat. It was so nice to relax and just enjoy family time and the sunshine definately didn't hurt either.

Oh................POOP!

So lately (the last month or so) we have been working on potty training. I know so much fun right. Well it actually hasn't been too bad so far, except that she wouldn't go when we were out of town. She came to me one morning and said she wanted to use the big girl potty. I had tried a few times before that but she wasn't interested, so i was really excited when she came to me and she has been going ever since. She had had only a handful of accidents up until today but she has had TWO today and i'm kinda freaking out.I hope it doesn't mean that we are taking a step back. Anyways wish me luck. These are a couple pics from when we first bought panties. She came in to show me and she had all ten pairs on at once. She was so proud!

Easter Fun!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays and time of year. This year we stuck with tradition and went to St. George to spend it with my family. Me and Chalyn went down on Wednesday to get ready for everything and Luke joined us on Friday. We spent Friday with everybody at moms coloring easter eggs and doing dinner. Saturday we got up early and went to the city easter egg hunt for just a few minutes and then loaded up to go to the park. We had a lot of fun picnicking, playing games, doing a scavenger hunt with the kids, and enjoying the sunshine. Then we went and found a sandy hill to roll our eggs down and went for a hike. We spent the whole day outside and were sunburned and exhausted but it was way worth it. On Sunday we had the Easter bunny come, did a jelly bean and treasure hunt, watched conference, and ate yummy Easter dinner before coming home. We had such an amazing weekend thanks to my fun family. Sorry for the picture overload but it's so hard to choose!

Crazy bathtime with cousins! They had so much fun.
Coloring Easter Eggs
Just finishing the city easter egg hunt at the park.
Playing at the park with mom and dad.
We scored at the family scavenger hunt.
Getting her prize at the end of the scavenger hunt from uncle Jason.
Rolling Easter Eggs in the sand with cousin Makell. We went on a hike right after this and saw a bunch of dinosaur tracks so she is now on a major dinosaur kick.
We woke up Sunday to a treasure hunt that Luke did for me and Chalyn and the Easter Bunny bringing her basket.
It's finally warming up so on warm days Chalyn spends hours playing in our back yard.
Chalyn's First Bike! We bought this bike for her in california and gave it to her when we got back. It is still too big but she LOVES it and rides it around the house all day.
