So I'm gonna start off with my bad news story first. I went in for my regular weekly pregnancy checkup last Thursday and found out some kind of bad news. While my doctor was checking to see if I was dilating he discovered that our baby is in frank breech position. Obviously thats not something you want to hear but i wasn't concerned at all thinking i still have plenty of time for him to turn. So the doctor ordered another ultrasound just to make sure and told me he wanted me to go from his office to the hospital to do a non stress test. I did the test and everything looked perfect which was a huge relief but then went to do to the fluid test (done by ultrasound) and my fluid is low. They like you to be between 10 and 20 centimeters and they told me they wouldn't let me leave the hospital if it was under 5. Mine was6.5 so i was relieved thinking they were gonna let me go but they made me wait until my doctor could come talk to me. Right about then is when I started to worry. My doctor came and explained that since my fluid is low there is very little chance the baby will turn on his own and so i need to be prepared to have a c-section. I was totally devastated and broke down. But he did refer me to a specialist to see if they can try and do a version to turn him, however he thinks i'm probably not a candidate because i have low fluid. So i meet with the specialist tomorrow and am just praying that they will at least try it. After getting all that bad news i decided i wanted to get away so we went to St. George to take my mind off of things. It was really nice for Chalyn to be able to play outside with all the cousins and i not have to worry about her, and we were able to go to my nephew Jace's baptism on Sat. It was so nice to relax and just enjoy family time and the sunshine definately didn't hurt either.
