Pumpkins

This year we grew a cute little garden in our backyard and Luke was all about growing our own pumpkins. I kinda kept thinking they would be weird shaped or something so I was secretly planning on buying some still, but when they got big they actually were really cute. The kids watched them, anticipating when they could pick them and carve them. We finally carved them like an hour before we went trick or treating on monday and they turned out so fun. I love this tradition even though it seemed so hard to find the time this year.

Chalyn and Her Daddy! She is still the biggest daddy's girl.

We tricked Beck to stick his hand in the first time but then they both did great cleaning them and everthing.

Right after picking them.

Chalyn was really excited and begged everyday to carve it.

Kind of a funny story. We actually had one of them stolen but were able to recover it. After we picked them we set them on our front step and the little girl from upstairs thought it was hers so she took it and painted it. I was a little devastated since we had watched them grow, so Luke ever so nicely asked for it back and we washed it so it was good as new. I felt really bad but we were attached.
